The Palm Beaches have been at the forefront of equality and human rights in the State of Florida. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation has rated West Palm Beach and Wellington as better than perfect on its 2022 Municipal Equality Index (MEI) Scorecard. West Palm Beach received a score of 106 points, while Wellington received 101 points. Rating more than 500 U.S. cities, the MEI examines how inclusive are the municipal laws, policies and services of the LGBTQ people in communities. Cities are rated based on non-discrimination laws, the municipality as an employer, municipal services law enforcement, and the city leadership’s public position on equality.

Certified Autism Center

The Palm Beaches worked with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), a global leader in online training and certification programs, to be designated as a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC). Our staff has completed training and certification in best practices when assisting autistic individuals. Industry/Community Relations

Ensure that we support the advancement of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive mindset in the community we serve through internal and external initiatives such as mentoring programs, corporate social responsibility projects/programs, presentations, and volunteer efforts to raise awareness and empower the vulnerable groups in our community.  

Staffing & Recruitment

Ensure that an inclusive mindset permeates the organization and is foundational to who we are.
